Ok, so I am counting
You may notice that despite only having 3 days remaining in the office before I go on vacation, I’ve only completed one of my to-do list items that were on the board yesterday. I have however managed to complete extra things that were thrown at me at the last minute.
Grrrrrr.

Vacation? Vacation? Only Americans go on vacation. The rest of us go on holiday. With regards to your to-do -list, you may do R2 and you may do D2, but I bet you will never do R2D2. Have a marvellous holiday,vacation, break or whatever you want to call it.

thrown at you?? thrown at you!?? i’d like to think they were dropped on you from a great height, actually. if it seemed like i was throwing it i obviously didn’t get high enough before dropping it. besides, i thought you’d do the smart thing and delegate!
