There’s something delightfully silly about all the fan of Father Ted all meeting on an island for a conference that includes Priests versus Nuns Football Tournament, a Guided Fancy Dress Walk around the island, the Father Jack Cocktail Evening, a midnight Crazy Golf Championship, and - in the style of the show itself - a Lovely Girls contest. Quickly followed by a 1.30am a ‘Hide the Nun and Seek’ contest.

Sitting round the pool yesterday with Nick playing his ukulele, me accompanying on makeshift bongos (a Tupperware sandwich box), Ben and Becs singing along and SheHo providing some glamour I was reminded of this guy.
